So if having a Burning Desire to Succeed is the Number One Key to Success then how does someone go about Creating that Burning Desire?

You can create it by putting yourself into the situation. Once again by taking a decision. By burning the ships behind you. This is exactly what a Greek conquer did when they landed on that island and they found the fortress with hundreds and thousands of soldiers full of weapons waiting for them, and the supposed attackers were scared to death because there was only a handful of people who had just landed on an island and they were supposed to conquer the city that was highly defended, and that fortress with the walls very high and everybody just waiting for them.

 So they were shivering and they were weeping. And they were complaining say, “We can’t do it. Let’s go back home. There’s no way that we will conquer the city.” And the leader said, “Well if you think so then turnaround and look at our boats.” And when they turned around all the boats were burning and the first one was already sinking.

 So what did that mean? They had only one choice. They had to conquer the city or die. That city was conquered in record time in history. No city had ever fallen in such a short period of time because those men had no other chance but winning or dieing.

 This might be an extreme example but if you apply it to your life, to your personal family or business situation, some decisions might seem to you all rather extreme as well.

 For example, if you had to decide against your family to start your business. If you had to leave your parent’s home in order to make yourself financially free and independent, this might be the hardest decision that you had ever to take.

 That’s exactly what I did. Amongst all the decisions that I took in my life the most difficult one was to turn my back towards my father’s business and to say, “I love you. I respect you, but I have to go. I need to do my own thing, to build my own business, to become financially independent.”
